The Fall Of The House Of Usher: Trailer for Mike Flanagan horror series

From Mike Flanagan, the creator of The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting Of Bly Manor and Midnight Mass, comes a brand new wicked horror series for Netflix, this time based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Check out the trailer for The Fall Of The House Of Usher

The series follows ruthless siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher, who have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege and power. But past secrets come to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth.

The series is directed by Flanagan and Michael Fimognari (The Midnight Club) and stars Carla Gugino (Watchmen), Willa Fitzgerald (Scream: The TV Series), Mary McDonnell (Battlestar Galactica), Kate Siegel (Hush), Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy), Mark Hamill (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), Henry Thomas (Midnight Mass), Annabeth Gish (Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches), Michael Trucco (Battlestar Galactica), Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek), T’Nia Miller (The Peripheral), Samantha Sloyan (The Midnight Club), Rahul Kohli (iZombie) and Katie Parker (Alt).

The series is the last show Flanagan will be making for Netflix before he and his producer partner Trevor Macy (under the Intrepid Pictures banner) movie to Amazon for their next slew of projects.

“Amazon is a studio that we have long admired,” Flanagan and Macy said to Variety. “Their commitment to engaging in groundbreaking series and content aligns with the ethos of what we have built at Intrepid. We are looking forward to working with the entire Amazon team as we bring our brand of genre productions to the service and audiences around the globe.”

And it looks like Flanagan will be leaving Netflix with a bang:  “The Fall of the House of Usher [is] super special,” said series star Rahul Kohli to us when we spoke to him earlier this year. “The buzz I’m hearing from co-stars and people who’ve seen it and people at Netflix are very excited for this one. It’s a real treat. It’s Mike’s last next Netflix thing. So it’s a goodbye from Mike, and it’s a hell of a goodbye!”

The Fall Of The House Of Usher will be out on Netflix on 12 October
