Despite the major story spoilers appearing online last week and rocking the video gaming world (stay safe out there folks and avoid all the comments sections!) we’re being treated to the latest trailer in the upcoming post-apocalyptic epic The Last of Us: Part II from Naughty Dog. See for yourselves below…
The sequel, set five years after the critically acclaimed The Last of Us, stars Ashley Johnson (Blindspot), Troy Baker (Avengers Assemble – TV series) and Shannon Woodward (Westworld). Also joining up from Westworld but on writing duties alongside game director Neil Druckmann is Halley Gross.
HBO also announced in March its plans for a television adaption of the original game (and potentially the sequel), co-written by creative director of the game Druckmann and the award winning Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin.
The Last of Us: Part II from Naughty Dog is set for release on 19 June 2020, exclusive to PlayStation 4.
